DIFFERENCE BETWEEN ADD-ON AND SUBDOMAIN

Hello welcome, I am philomina and its cool having you here today. So, we shall be comparing add-on and subdomain this, of course, doesn’t mean that one is better than the other, they are both important. this now takes to knowing and understanding the two concept SUBDOMAIN AND ADD-ON:
A subdomain is a second website that has its own unique content, but it does not have a new domain name. Thus, it is expected that an existing domain name is used and it creates another name. While the Add-on domain is a domain name which points to its own folder within public html and it also appears as a separate website from the main domain which could also be referred to as the primary domain.
However, a subdomain is something that is part or directly related to the primary domain(main domain)and the Add-on domain is a regular domain that is added on the hosting account after the main domain must have been used to set up the particular account. Simply put, Add-on domain means that it is actually referencing a new or created
folder that is unassigned and it points generally to a folder and the presence of that particular folder makes it an add-on domain(Hmmm awesome!!).
In addition, a subdomain is actually something that is part of the main domain so it could either be directly related to the primary domain otherwise known as the main domain……thats cool you know and so its a rap please do us well by dropping your awesome comments via the comments sections until then see ya(smiles).

My programmer is trying to persuade me to move to .net from PHP. I have always disliked the idea because of the costs. But he’s tryiong none the less. I’ve been using WordPress on various websites for about a year and am worried about switching to another platform. I have heard very good things about blogengine.net. Is there a way I can transfer all my wordpress content into it? Any kind of help would be greatly appreciated!
